Welcome to my site, I am Nicholas Gamble, a home educated student who is now

undertaking a PhD in the Faculty of Education at Monash University in Melbourne Australia.

This year marks an interesting transition for me. My mother home educated me for the first 16 years of my life and I have now spent 16 years in the formal education system. After 16 years of home education I made the decision to attend a high school for years 11 and 12. I then attended Monash University studying a combined Accounting/Computing Degree. I then completed an Arts Degree at Monash with a major in psychology. I continued with my psychological studies and completed a Post Graduate Diploma and Masters in Education and Developmental Psychology at Monash.

I now teach sessionaly at Monash and have started my PhD examining the wellbeing of parents who home educate their children.
